Zulkanycz named FHL Rookie of the Month

Kenai Central and Kenai River Brown Bears product Zack Zulkanycz was named the Bardown Hockey Federal Hockey League Rookie of the Month this week.

Zulkanycz, 22, scored six goals, had seven assists and was plus-2 in 13 games during December for the St. Clair Shores (Michigan) Fighting Saints. He had at least one point in nine of 13 games during the month and also had four multipoint games.

The FHL is a professional hockey league based mainly in the Midwest and Northeastern United States.
