The visiting American Legion Post 20 Twins defeated Eagle River 11-0 in five innings Wednesday.
The Twins move to 3-2 in the league and 9-5-2 overall, while the Wolves fall to 3-3 in the league and 7-6 overall.
A six-run third inning and a sparkling outing by Matthew Schilling allowed Post 20 to enact the mercy rule after five innings.
Schilling went the distance, giving up just one hit while walking two and striking out six.
The Twins were able to bang out 11 hits, with Jayden Stuyvesant going 2 for 3 with a run and three RBIs, Gavin Peterson going 2 for 3 with a run and an RBI and Daniel Steffensen going 2 for 4 with a run.
The Twins stay on the road to face South on Thursday. At 1 p.m., the Twins and Wolverines will pick up a game suspended by rain June 9. Post 20 was leading 1-0 in the second inning.
South and Post 20 will then play a regularly scheduled league game at 3 p.m.
Also, Schilling scored twice, Jacob Joanis scored three times, and Jack Harper and Ari Miller each had a pair of RBIs.
