Week 1 Salmon Run Series results posted

The first Salmon Run Series 5-kilometer race of the season was held Wednesday, July 5, with Annie Burns taking the victory and Aaron Bates taking second place.

The series continues Wednesday, July 12, at the Skyview Middle School trailhead of Tsalteshi Trails. Registration and check-in starts at 5:30 p.m., with the kids race at 6 p.m. and the adult race to follow. Registration also is available at kenaiwatershed.org through 3 p.m. on race day.
