The visiting American Legion Twins closed their regular season by defeating West 8-0 on Wednesday.
The Twins finish at 12-4 in the league and 19-10-1 overall.
Post 20 is in second place behind Service, which is 13-1. Eagle River (12-2) is third and Chugiak (9-4) is fourth.
Malakai Olson, backed by errorless defense, came through on the mound for the Twins. He went all seven innings for the shutout, giving up eight hits and a walk while striking out six. Olson threw 102 pitches, 70 for strikes.
Hunter Williams scored two runs for the Twins, while Atticus Gibson was 2 for 4, Charlie Chamberlain had two RBIs, Andrew Pieh was 2 for 4 with two runs, Derrick Jones had three runs and Jayden Stuyvesant had two RBIs.
The Twins have qualified for the state tournament, which starts July 20 at Mulcahy Stadium in Anchorage.
