Results posted for Family Fun in Midnight Sun Run

The Family Fun in the Midnight Sun Fun Run was held Saturday in Nikiski.

In the three-mile race, Grant Kimball and Laura Hufford were the victors. Kimball finished at 21 minutes, 30 seconds, while Ryan Ellis was second at 23:18 and Sammy Anders was third at 29:45.

Hufford’s time was 27:58. Whitney Hitchcock was second at 29:48, while Nadia Anders was third at 29:55.

In the five-mile race, Ben Carstens and Chris Morin took the victory. Carstens won at 39:34, while Tom Bennett was second at 44:12 and Greg Brown was third at 47:23. Maria Sweppy, and 59:08, was the runner-up behind Morin’s time of 51:49.
