Kenai volleyball gets past Kodiak in 5 sets

The Kenai Central volleyball team defeated Kodiak in five sets Thursday in nonconference play at Kenai Central.

The Kardinals won 25-16, 25-18, 22-25, 15-25 and 15-7 against the Bears to move to 14-0 in nontournament play.

Emma Beck had 15 kills, 15 digs, five assists and three aces for Kenai, while Cali Holmes had seven kills and three aces, Jorgi Phillips had 30 assists and five aces, Kimberly Chanley had 44 digs, and Camilla Gonzalez had 12 digs.
