SoHi hoops sweep Seward

The Soldotna girls and boys basketball teams swept host Seward in nonconference action Tuesday.

SoHi took the girls game 59-29. Brittani Blossom had a huge game for the Stars, pouring in 20 points while hitting three 3-pointers.

Ayla Lapinskas had eight points to lead the Seahawks.

In the boys game, Timmy Smithwick poured in 30 points for the Stars, including six 3-pointers, while Derek Evarts added 20.

For the Seahawks, Ronnie Jackson had 16 and Nik Pahno added 10.
