Rotary Unity Run set for July 11

The annual 10-mile and five-kilometer Rotary Unity Run will be held July 11, hosted by the Kenai River Rotary Club and Tsalteshi Trails Association, with prizes, raffle drawings and barbecue at the finish line.

Advance registration and more information is available at www.tsalteshi.org.

Bib pickup is from 5 to 6 p.m. July 10 at Soldotna High School. Race-day registration and bib pickup is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. July 11 at SoHi.

Advance registration closes at 11:59 p.m. on July 10.

Buses leave SoHi for the starting lines at 9 a.m. July 11, taking 5K racers to Peninsula Powersports, and 10-mile racers to Kenai Central High School. Both races start at 9:30 a.m.

The entry fee is $20 for individuals, $10 for youth and $50 for families, with $5 discounts for advance registration and Tsalteshi Trails Association members. T-shirts can be ordered as part of advance registration. Purchase them early to ensure a preferred size.
