Kenai’s Mese named MVP of Northern Lights Conference for 3rd straight year

Kenai Central senior Logan Mese was named the Most Valuable Player of the Northern Lights Conference for the third straight year in voting announced this week.

Mese led the Kardinals to second place in the conference. Rusty Belanger, Northern Lights Coach of the Year, led Palmer to first place.

In addition to Mese, the all-conference team was made up of Palmer’s Zidane Dietz, Palmer’s Elijah Von Gunten, Kenai’s Avery Martin, Luke Bovitz of Juneau-Douglas: Yadaa.at Kale, Soldotna’s Noah Crabtree, Palmer’s Kaleb Von Gunten, Soldotna’s Daniel Heath, Soldotna’s Marshall DeRaeve, Kodiak’s Miles Grimes and Kenai’s Gavin Liles.

The Good Sport Team was made up of DeRaeve, Zidane Dietz, Kodiak’s Rylee Otto, Kenai Central’s Everett Chamberlain, Homer’s Sabre Wilmeth and Juneau’s Elliot Welch.
