Anderson, Smith win SCS pursuit

Ethan Anderson and Melissa Smith were the top finishers in the sixth and final Soldotna Cycle Series race of the season Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.

The series concluded with a pursuit race, in which times from throughout the season were used to try and put all the riders on equal footing.

Anderson was the first finisher at 1 hour, 3 minutes and 8 seconds, while Smith was the first women’s finisher, and sixth overall, at 1:05:54.
