Weekend stock car races set for Twin City Raceway

Kenai Peninsula Racing Lions – Circle Track Division will hold races at Twin City Raceway on Saturday and Sunday to celebrate the Fourth of July, with the feature race Saturday being the Stock Car Filthy Fifty.

Saturday, the feature races start at 6 p.m. while the gates open at 3 p.m. and qualifying starts at 4 p.m. Sunday, the feature races art at 1 p.m., while the gates open at 10:30 a.m. and qualifying is at 11 a.m.

General admission prices each day are $10 for adults, or $5 for those 65 and over or students 7 to 17. Admission is free for active military, veterans and those under 7. Pit passes are available to those 13 and older for $20.

Twin City Raceway is at Mile 6.5 of the Kenai Spur Highway on Shotgun Road, which is across from Beaver Loop Road.
