Editor’s note: The Clarion’s Sultan of Sides, Nolan Rose, is making his list of picks for Sunday’s games and checking it twice. Thus, the picks for Sunday’s game will not run until the Clarion’s Sunday sports section.

San Diego Chargers
@ OAKLAND RAIDERS -6

The Chargers are all but a lock to move to Los Angeles by 2016, leaving old man Philip Rivers with nothing left to play for after last week’s emphatic victory in the team’s home finale. Picking an Oakland game correctly is on my Christmas wish list. I’ve been on the wrong side of this Raiders team all season. Home team on the rise vs. road team on the way out of town… Take the home side. Raiders win 31-20

Washington Redskins
@ PHIL. EAGLES -3

A Washington Redskins win would provide some clarity in the NFC East division race. If you have been following football at all this season you know that chaos is the rule of thumb in the NFL’s JV league. This has to be an Eagles win. The football gods wouldn’t have it any other way. Plus, since when are people in the nation’s capital good at making sense of things? Never. Eagles win 28-24
