Mandi Sisley, Emma Glassmaker and Angelina Chavarria joined Brown on the 400 relay, while Glassmaker, Chavarria and Anaulie Sedivy were on the 800 relay.

Sisley won the triple jump for SoHi.

Burns also won the 400 for the Stars.

Katelyn Morrison picked up two wins for the Stars, taking the 100 hurdles and the high jump.

In the high jump, Morrison set a new PR of 5 feet, 3 inches. That’s the top Division mark in the state by 2 inches.

In the 3,200 relay, Tania Boonstra, Laurel Johnson, Megan Whittom and Delanie Wagers gave SoHi a sweep of the relays.

Emma Beck also was able to win a pair of events, taking the shot put and discus. Emilee Wilson added a victory in the long jump for the Kards.

Beck was off her best marks in the shot put and discus, but still holds the top Division II marks in the state.

Homer’s victories came from Daisy Walker in the 3,200 and Gracie Miotke in the 300 hurdles.

Eryn Field finished second in the 400 at 1 minute, 3.01 seconds for the Mariners and now has the top Division II time in the state.

Dax also won the 100 for the Mariners, while Seneff also won the triple jump.

Reagan Graves won the 200 for Kenai, while Greg Fallon took the 400. Christian Caddock and Ransom Hayes then joined the two for a victory in the 800 relay.

Graves ran his personal best in the 200 at 23.34 seconds and that’s the top Division II time in the state.

Fallon’s personal best in the 400 of 51.90 is the top Division II time in the state.

Graves, Fallon, Hayes and Caddock also now have the top 400 relay (46.84) and 800 relay (1:37.51) Division II times in the state.

Adam Anglebrandt also gave the Kards a victory in the discus.

Nickolas Ambrosiani won the high jump for Seward, while his teammates Bengimin Ambrosiani and Olin Liljemark tied for second in the event. Ambrosiani matched his PR at 5—8, which is tied — with Liljemark — for the top Division II mark in the state.

Nikiski’s top performances came from Walter Haybeck and his second second-place finish in the long jump, and the 800 relay team of Haybeck, James Hemphill, Taisei Horiyasu and Dwight Mullins.

Friday and Saturday, Soldotna will compete in the Region 3/Division I meet at Palmer, while Homer, Nikiski, Kenai and Seward will compete in the Region 3/Division II meet at Palmer.

Cook Inlet Academy, Ninilchik and Susan B. English compete at the Region 2/Division II meet at Susitna Valley on Friday.

In Division I, the top finisher in the individual events at each of the four region meets qualifies for state. The next 12 best marks from across the state also qualify. For the relays, it’s the first place team at regions, plus the next four across the state.

In Division II, the top finisher in the individual events at each of the four regions meets qualifies for state. The next 12 best marks from across the state also qualify. In relays, the first place team goes, plus the four next best.
