Soldotna hockey tops Homer

The visiting Soldotna hockey team overcame a 1-0 deficit at the end of the first period to top Homer 4-1 on Thursday in North Star Conference action.

Homer took the lead in the first on a goal by Tim Blakley.

But Galen Brantley III and Matthew Daugherty scored in the second for the Stars, and Corey Hanson and Brantley wrapped things up with third-period goals.
