Ostrander leads Boise State to 2nd in loaded Nuttycombe field

Allie Ostrander, a 2015 graduate of Kenai Central High School, finished fifth at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday in Madison to lead the Boise State women to a second-place finish in the loaded field.

Ostrander, a junior, finished the six-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 40.4 seconds, with winner Alicia Monson of Wisconsin, also a junior, finishing at 19:33.3. This same course will be used for the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships.
