Kincaid, Brennan triumph at cyclocross

Nathan Kincaid and Angie Brennan earned victories Thursday in the first race of the Chainwreck Cyclocross Series at Tsalteshi Trails.

Racers have a certain time in which they can complete as many laps as possible. Kincaid did his six laps in 36 minutes, 7 seconds, while Mike Crawford was second at six laps at 36:41. Brennan also got in six laps, finishing eighth overall at 42:06. Ashley Tonione was the second woman at 37:12 for five laps.

Trevor Slaughter was the top youth racer, getting in six laps in 42:14.

The series continues Thursday at Tsalteshi, with registration at 6 p.m. The cost is $5 for Tsalteshi members and $10 for nonmembers. Check Tsalteshi’s Facebook page for more details.
