CIA girls, boys cagers sweep Homer JV

The host Cook Inlet Academy girls and boys basketball teams swept Homer’s junior varsity Monday in nonconference play.

The CIA girls defeated Homer’s JV 37-31. Anna Henderson had 21 points to pace the Eagles, while Tatum Rozak had eight, Annika Castenholz had six and Linnea Dohse had two. Kappa Reutov, Delilah Harris and Sophie Ellison had eight for Homer JV.

The Eagles boys won 69-59. For CIA, Moore had 19, Ethan Boyd had 17, James Boyd had nine, Josh Boyd had eight, Mason Zeigler had seven, Austin Matheson had five and Lucas Cragg had two.
