Bracket released for Southcentral Conference baseball tourney

The Southcentral Conference baseball tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park in Kenai and the Kenai Little League fields.

There will be three Division II state berths up for grabs at the tournament. There also are three at-large berths available to state.

Soldotna is the defending Division II state champion, but Palmer is the defending Southcentral Conference champion.

Kodiak is the top seed, while the Stars are No. 2, Palmer is No. 3, Kenai is No. 4, Houston is No. 5, Grace Christian is No. 6, Homer is No. 7 and Redington is No. 8.

Game 1 — Soldotna vs. Homer, 10 a.m. (CS)

Game 2 — Palmer vs. Grace, 10 a.m. (LL)

Game 3 — Kodiak vs. Redington, 1 p.m. (CS)

Game 4 — Kenai vs. Houston, 1 p.m. (LL)

Game 5 — Game 1 winner vs. Game 2 winner, 4 p.m. (CS)

Game 6 — Game 3 winner vs. Game 4 winner, 7 p.m. (CS)

Friday’s games

Game 7 — Game 1 loser vs. Game 2 loser, 10 a.m. (CS)

Game 8 — Game 3 loser vs. Game 4 loser, 10 a.m. (LL)

Game 9 — Game 7 winner vs. Game 6 loser, 3 p.m. (CS)

Game 10 — Game 8 winner vs. Game 5 loser, 3 p.m. (LL)

Game 11 (Championship) — Game 5 winner vs. Game 6 winner, 7 p.m. (CS)

Saturday’s game

Game 12 — Game 9 winner vs. Game 10 winner, 10 a.m. (CS)

Game 13 — Game 12 winner vs. Game 11 loser, 1 p.m. (CS)
