Learning for Life: Root maggots, the gardener’s bane

Root maggots, even the name makes vegetable gardeners scowl!  But how to combat these garden pests? Cooperative Extension’s free publication Root Maggots in Alaska Home Gardens is a great way to start learning how to control these pests.

Your local Cooperative Extension Service is your year-round resource for a variety of topics, visit: http://www.uaf.edu/ces/districts/kenai/ to find this publication and more or stop by the extension office in the Doors and Windows Building on K-Beach Road between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. We are “Learning for Life.”
