The Soldotna softball team defeated Homer 13-3 in five innings Tuesday in Northern Lights Conference play at the Soldotna Little League fields.
The Stars improved to 3-2 in the league and 11-7 overall, while the Mariners are 1-2 and 8-15-2.
Mariners pitchers walked 12 batters in the game.
For SoHi, Tatum Cooper walked three times and scored two runs, Alyssa McDonald walked twice and had a hit, Isabelle Cruz walked and got a hit, Juliet Innes walked once and scored twice, Bailey Conner walked twice and scored three times, and Kacey Cunningham walked twice and scored twice.
For Homer, Keagan Niebuhr was 2 for 3.
