The visiting Palmer baseball team defeated Homer 11-1 in five innings Thursday in Northern Lights Conference play.
The Moose scored three runs in the first and five in the second. With one run in the fourth and two in the fifth, Homer’s one run in the bottom of the fifth was not enough to prolong the game.
CJ Burns had a hit and a run for Homer, while Oak Anderson had a hit and an RBI.
Burns gave up five runs — three earned — in an inning, while Malachi Raymond gave up four runs — three earned — in four innings.
