The seventh race of the Soldotna Cycle Series was held Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.

David Seramur won the 12-kilometer race at 34 minutes, 19 seconds, while Morgan Aldridge was the first women’s rider, and fourth overall, at 35:16 and Ben Boersma was the first youth rider, and sixth overall, at 37:13.

The series concludes Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails with the pursuit race. Organizers use each rider’s results in the series to send each rider off at a different start wave to give each rider an equal chance at victory.

Early wave riders may start as soon as 6 p.m. The race starts from the top of the sprint hills at the Skyview Middle School trailhead.
