Aldridge, Burton win Tri Nikiski

Morgan Aldridge and Dylan Burton won the Tri Nikiski on Saturday.

The event features a 500-yard swim, 10.6-mile bike ride and 5-kilometer run.

Aldridge was the overall and women’s winner at 1 hour, 7 minutes and 9 seconds, while Burton was second overall and the top man at 1:07:18.

Jennifer Schmidt was second woman and fourth overall at 1:10:24 and Pamela Schamber was third woman and fifth overall at 1:11:21. Jon Iannaccone was second man and third overall at 1:08:17, while Samuel Baisden was the third man and sixth overall at 1:20:29.

The top team was Rena Kornstad and Jace Kornstad at 1:21:25. The second place team was Bennett Martin and David Martin at 1:25:54, while the third team was Amy Warfle, Andrew Warfle and Jason Warfle at 1:38:18.

Leif Laker was the top youth racer at 2:10:45.
