108 finish Homer Epic

There were 108 finishers at the Homer Epic on Saturday in the Caribou Hills outside of Homer. The event features 50- and 100-kilometer biking, running and skiing events for women and men.

The 100K winners for the women were Erin Mingrone in the bike, Rachelle Kanady in the ski and Erin McKittrick in the run. For the men in the 100K, Mike Monterusso won the bike, Andy Liebner won the ski and Aaron Thomas won the run.

The 50K winners for the women were Melanie Beale in the bike, Holly Brooks in the ski and Sydney Edgerton in the run. For the men at 50K, Devin Mcdowell won the bike, Luke Rosier won the ski and Todd Murdoch won the run.
