The players, coaches and parents of the Kenai Peninsula Hockey Association U14 girl’s team would like to thank the entire community for their generous support by providing cash and in-kind donations to assist us with our recent trip to the USA Hockey Nationals Tournament in Lansing, Michigan. There were so many contributors that it would be difficult to name them all, but please know that we appreciate each and every donation.
The team performed outstandingly well and ended the tournament with a third place finish. The girls represented the Pacific District, State of Alaska and our local community with pride, determination and a never give up attitude. It is possible this could lead to bigger and better hockey experiences for many of our girls. This memorable event would have been difficult to finance without the support of this awesome community. It is a pleasure to live in the midst of such generous people. Thank you again.
