Income tax not the answer

Now a representative wants to take money from Alaskans to fund their spending. If the state cannot live within the confines of their budget then quit spending. When a family runs low on money the state doesn’t give them extra to help them out. When oil prices were high you spend and spend and when the price drops as it has in the past your proposal is to take from the citizens that elect you and pay your salary and expenses great move. I know that setting a budget and working within it is tough for governments. When times are lean tighten your belt and adjust accordingly, and when times are good put some away for a rainy day.

The answer is not to always take from the Alaskan residents it costs us enough to live here.
