State offices should have toll-free access

Having chosen Kenai as my home of record and purchasing a home here, I recently discovered that State offices refuse to provide toll free numbers for consumers in Kenai. As taxpayers we should be afforded access to phone contact for all state offices in addition to Permanent Fund Dividend rather than forcing citizens to pay twice, long distance rates from local phones, in addition to paying high in cost for maintaining government, who apparently controls PFD and its policy makers.

If they chose not to provide 800 assistance they should place a phone number on the Kenai Peninsula for its citizens. I am a new resident (three years) however I am disabled, on fixed income and do not have long distance on my home phone.

There should be change with respect to serving every Alaskan resident equally.
