LeeShore Radiothon Fundraiser a success

The LeeShore Center is very grateful for the generous community support during our 28th KSRM Radiothon fundraiser on Sept. 16. Cash and in-kind contributions pledged during Radiothon are used to support the agency’s services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Total cash and in-kind donated was $24,859.50!

Our sincere thanks to those who participated as Radiothon guest speakers: Chief David Ross (KPD), Chief Peter Mylarnik (SPD), Susan Smalley, Lindsey Anasogak (Kenaitze Indian Tribe), Catherine DeLacee (Love, Inc.), United Way Executive Director Sue Carter, UW Board President Jeff Dolifka and UW Kick-Off Co-Chairs, Ed Krohn and Dale Dolifka.

Thanks also to our on-air host Senator Peter Micciche and KSRM General Manger Matt Wilson for donating use of the KSRM facility and air time.

On behalf of our board of directors and staff, thank you all! We appreciate the generosity of businesses and community members. Thanks for supporting our efforts to end domestic violence and sexual assault in the central peninsula.
