The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management was offering leases for 193 blocks totaling some 958,000 acres

State to begin accepting Cook Inlet oil and gas lease bids next month

Bidding will open Dec. 12 and close on Dec. 28 at 4 p.m.

Hilcorp ordered to replace pipeline that leaked in Cook Inlet

The size of the leak is reported to be between 75,000 and 150,000 cubic feet a day.
