Sadie Fox, a graduate of Soldotna High School who now skis for the University of Alaska Anchorage, continued to have a great winter on classic skis March 18 at the Oosik Classic Ski Race in Talkeetna.
Fox won the 25-kilometer women’s race in 1 hour, 32 minutes and 33 seconds, with Karina Packer taking second at 1:43:20. Fox added the victory to the 25K classic in the Tour of Anchorage in early March and the 5K classic for women Under-16 and over in the Besh Cup in January at Tsalteshi Trails.
