Middle school, unified results from borough track meet

The Kenai Peninsula Borough middle school and unified track meets were held in conjunction with the high school meet May 12 at Soldotna High School.

There were no records broken, but Skyview Middle School’s Ellie Burns turned in an impressive performance by winning the 400-meter dash, 800, 1,600 and anchoring the 1,600 relay of Jordan Strausbaugh, Kaidence Shaeffer and Jolie Widaman to victory.

SoHi hockey won the End of the Road tournament in Homer and the wrestling team gained 20 individual wins.
