DiMarzio, Aldridge win Freezer Food Series ski race

Chuck DiMarzio and Morgan Aldridge won the final Freezer Food Series race of the season Sunday at Tsalteshi Trails.

DiMarzio finished the four-mile freestyle race in 18 minutes, 0 seconds, while Joey Klecka was second at 18:18 and Kent Peterson was third at 20:10. Aldridge took the women’s victory at 21:12, while Emma Clare was second at 28:09 and Lara Griffin was third at 34:14.

That concludes the Freezer Food Series for the season. Upcoming events at Tsalteshi Trails are the Tour of Tsalteshi on Sunday (details at touroftsalteshi.org) and a triathlon on Feb. 24. Details are still to come on the triathlon.
