Butler still in the race

To paraphrase Mark Twain, the report of my dropping out is exaggerated.

Due to some unverified information, and the way that the Alaska Division of Elections displayed my candidate information between the Primary and Sept. 4, the Juneau Empire reported that I had dropped out of the race for House District 29. This is not true.

I am a clear and present candidate for the seat Mike Chenault is vacating. I am very excited about the opportunity to serve the constituents of HD 29 in Juneau.
