The following dismissals were recently handed down in Kenai District Court:

A charge of failure to give immediate notice of an accident against Michael William Farnam, 45, of Kenai, was dismissed. Date of the charge was Feb. 14, 2019.

Amber Marie Hansen, 42, of Kenai, was found not guilty of a charge of false information of report (ID at arrest/investigation/incarceration), and the case was dismissed. Date of the charge was July 31.

A charge of violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor against Shannon S. Joe, 31, of Kenai, was dismissed. Date of the charge was Apr. 8.

Charges of one count of violating responsibility of licensee, agent, employee and one count of violating licensee responsible for alcohol violations against Linda Louise Superman, 68, of Nikiski, were dismissed. Date of the charges was Dec. 13, 2019.

The following judgments were recently handed down in Kenai District Court:

Laura Carolyn Toefui Archuleta, 20, of Kasilof, pleaded no contest to violating condition of release for a felony, committed Oct. 6, 2020. She was fined $500 with $400 suspended, a $100 curt surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge, and placed on probation for six months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Roy Peter Beaver, 50, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to one count of false information/report and one count of second-degree unlawful contact when charged with a class A misdemeanor/felony offense, committed July 12. On the count of false information or report, he was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and placed on probation for 12 months. On the count of unlawful contact, he was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Jacqueline Mary Brewer, 40, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to one count of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance and one count of second-degree criminal impersonation (committing an act with false ID), committed Aug. 6, 2019, and one count of violating condition of release for a felony, committed Nov. 21, 2019. On the count of fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge and forfeited any controlled substances seized. On the count of second-degree criminal impersonation, she was sentenced to 90 days in jail and forfeited any controlled substances seized. On the count of violating condition of release for a felony, she was sentenced to five days in jail and forfeited any controlled substances seized. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Tiffiney L. Britton, 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension, committed July 1. She was sentenced to 360 days in jail with 300 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to contact the Alcohol Safety Action Program for a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, ordered not to have controlled substances without a valid prescription, taken as prescribed, and maintained in their original containers, and was placed on probation for 12 months.

Robert Levi Burns, 29, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to improper use of registration/title/plates, committed July 13. He was fined $300 and a $100 court surcharge.

Samuel Jeffrey Carter, 66, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed Sept. 11, 2020. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, and placed on probation for one year.

Harley David Copenharve, 20, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction, committed Jan. 25, 2020. He was fined $250, a $100 court surcharge, and a $50 jail surcharge. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

On the count of driving under the influence, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, and placed on probation for 12 months. On the count of violating conditions of release, he was sentenced to 15 days in jail with 15 days suspended and placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Michael Scott Dean, 40, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to one count of an amended charge of reckless driving and driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction, committed July 22, and to one count of violating condition of release for a felony, committed July 31. On count one, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 85 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and placed on probation for 24 months. On count two, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, had his license revoked for 90 days, and was placed on probation for 24 months. On count three, he was sentenced to five days in jail.

Mark Alden Estridge, 43, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed May 31. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, ordered not to possess, consume or buy alcohol for one year, and was placed on probation for one year.

Brittany Lee Fattore, 32, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, committed Oct. 27, 2020. She was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered not to use, possess, consume, ingest or have in any of her bodily fluids any alcoholic beverages, drug paraphernalia, or illegal controlled substances, including marijuana and synthetic drugs, forfeited all items seized, and was placed on probation for 24 months.

He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to contact the Alcohol Safety Action Program for a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, had his license revoked for 30 days, ordered not to possess controlled substances without a valid prescription, taken as prescribed, and maintained in their original containers, and was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Desiree J. Guilliam, 36, address unknown, pleaded guilty to third-degree theft, committed July 15. She was sentenced to 120 days in jail with 110 days suspended, fined $500 with $250 suspended, a $100 court surcharge and a $100 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with Home Depot, and placed on probation for 24 months.

David James Hamilton, 55, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to reckless driving, committed Jan. 1. He was fined $1,000 with $500 suspended, a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered not to consume or buy alcohol for 12 months, had his license revoked for 30 days, and was placed on probation for 12 months. The pistol seized is returned to him. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

David Scott Hoeldt, 42, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor, committed Feb. 3, 2020. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to complete a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations (satisfied), forfeited all items seized, and was placed on probation for two years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

David Scott Hoeldt, 42, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor, committed Oct. 5, 2020. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and placed on probation for two years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Hunger Hut pleaded guilty to violating responsibility of licensee, agent, employee, committed Dec. 13, 2019. It was fined $7,500 with $5,000 suspended and a $100 court surcharge and placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Etuale Ioane, 18, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, committed July 27. Imposition of sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for 12 months, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge, ordered to pay restitution, a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge, ordered to have no contact with Kenai Safeway for three years, ordered not to consume or buy alcohol during probation, ordered to perform 40 hours of community work service, and ordered to contact the Alcohol Safety Action Program for a substance/alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations.

Etuale Ioane, 18, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree theft, committed July 27. Imposition of sentence was suspended and she was placed on probation for 12 months, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge, ordered not to consume alcohol during probation, ordered to complete a substance and alcohol abuse assessment and follow all recommendations, ordered to pay restitution, and ordered to have no contact with Kenai Safeway for three years..

Shannon Sophie Joe, 31, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to second-degree harassment (offensive physical contact), committed Dec. 31, 2020. She was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and placed on probation for 24 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Russell Lloyd Johnson, 40, address unknown, pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended for a criminal offense, committed Aug. 6. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Sandra Lou Kidder, 61, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to one count of fourth-degree assault (recklessly injure), committed June 11. She was sentenced to 270 days in jail with all but time served suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to complete anger management and follow all recommendations, ordered to complete 60 hours of community work service, forfeited all items seized, and was placed on probation for 24 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Montana James Landess, 24, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed Jan. 6. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, forfeited interest in the weapon seized, ordered not to possess, consume or buy alcohol for 365 days, and was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Tony Malcolm Lashley, 38, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to failure to register as a sex offender, committed Aug. 12, 2020. He was sentenced to 35 days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge.

Ryan N. Mielka, 36, of Tollhouse, California, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree misconduct involving weapons (possession while intoxicated), committed July 15. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 25 days suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, forfeited firearm seized, and was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Obadiah James Francis Moore, 27, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction, committed May 15, 2020. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge. The case will be dismissed with proof of license within 60 days. Failure to obtain license and provide proof will result in a conviction of record.

Obadiah James Francis Moore, 27, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction, committed Feb. 12. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge. The case will be dismissed with proof of license provided within 60 days. Failure to obtain license and provide proof will result in a conviction of record.

Joseph Shields Nations, 33, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to third-degree theft, committed July 25. Imposition of sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 12 months, fined a $100 court surcharge, ordered to pay restitution, and ordered to have no contact with Fred Meyers.

Clarissa Mae Perez, 48, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to one count of driving under the influence, committed June 9, and one count of violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor, committed July 20. On the count of driving under the influence, she was sentenced to 150 days in jail with 130 days suspended, fined $4,000 with $1,000 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $1,467 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had her license revoked for one year, ordered ignition interlock for 12 months, ordered not to possess, consume or buy alcohol for three years, and was placed on probation for 36 months. On the count of violating conditions of release, she admitted facts sufficient to support the plea. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Paul Luther Pingayak, 37, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed Sept. 18, 2020. He was sentenced to 150 days in jail with 147 days suspended, fined $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment (satisfied), had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, forfeited all items seized, ordered not to possess, consume or buy alcohol for two years, and placed on probation for two years.

Shawn Neal Seetomona, 55, of Anchorage, pleaded guilty to driving while license canceled, revoked or suspended with a previous conviction, committed July 11. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined a $100 court surcharge and a $50 jail surcharge.

Ashlee Marie Shangin, 38, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to no motor vehicle liability insurance, committed July 22. She was fined $500 with $500 suspended and a $100 court surcharge, ordered to provide proof of six months’ worth of insurance when she obtains a vehicle, and was placed on probation for 12 months.

Nathaniel Loren Stigall, 19, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to sixth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance, imposition of sentence was suspended and he was placed on probation for 12 months, fined a $100 court surcharge, ordered to complete 24 hours of community work service, and forfeited all items seized.

Gregory Robert Stimac, 32, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to refusal to submit to a preliminary breath test, committed May 15. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had his license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, and was placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Van Mark Stogsdill, 41, of Soldotna, pleaded guilty to fourth-degree assault (causing fear of injury), a domestic violence offense committed June 18. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with all but time served suspended, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to have no contact with victim except for respectful telephonic or text communication, ordered to complete a batterers intervention program, admitted the facts in the police report, and was placed on probation for 12 months.

Phillip Keene Warren, 59, of Sterling, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance (with a fifth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance conviction within the preceding 10 years), committed Nov. 23, 2019. He was fined a $100 court surcharge and a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and placed on probation for 12 months.

Richelle Ann Wilson, 38, of Kenai, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence, committed Sept. 20, 2020. She was sentenced to. 90 days in jail with 87 days suspended, fined $2,000 with $500 suspended, a $150 court surcharge, a $150 jail surcharge with $100 suspended and $330 cost of imprisonment, ordered to complete Alcohol Safety Action Program treatment, had her license revoked for 90 days, ordered ignition interlock for six months, and placed on probation for 12 months. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Dahlquist, 53, address unknown, pleaded guilty to one felony count of second-degree theft, committed Dec. 22, 2020, and one misdemeanor count of violating condition of release for a felony, committed Feb. 3. He was sentenced to five years in prison with two years suspended on the felony count and to 10 days in jail on the misdemeanor count, fined a $200 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended (cost of appointed counsel was waived), forfeited all items seized, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to use, possess, or consume any alcoholic beverages or illegal controlled substances, including synthetic drugs and marijuana, ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, ordered to submit to search directed by a probation officer, with or without probable cause, for the presence of alcohol, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, evidence of controlled substance transactions and stolen property, ordered to have no contact with the Soldotna Fred Meyer store, ordered not to associate with individuals who use or sell illegal controlled substances, nor enter or remain in places where illegal controlled substances are used, manufactured, grown or sold, and was placed on probation for five years after serving any term of incarceration imposed.

Kyle David Robert Harvey, 35, of Kasilof, pleaded guilty to felony driving under the influence, committed Feb. 12. He was sentenced to 24 months in prison with 20 months suspended (time served: credited for time spent on electronic monitoring), fined $10,000 (may submit receipts from treatment and ignition interlock device for credit), fined a $200 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $300 cost of appointed counsel, had his license permanently revoked, subject to conditional restoration, is disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle for life, subject to conditional reinstatement, forfeited interest in the vehicle used in the offense, ordered ignition interlock for five years, ordered to maintain compliance with and satisfy the referral and program requirements of an alcohol safety action program or approved private or public treatment facility, ordered to actively participate in and successfully complete all treatment programs recommended by the substance abuse evaluator, forfeited all items seized, including the vehicle, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to use, possess or consume any alcoholic beverages or illegal controlled substances, including synthetic drugs and marijuana, ordered not to reside where alcoholic beverages are present or enter any business establishment whose primary business is the sale of alcohol, ordered to submit to search directed by a probation officer, with or without probable cause, for the presence of alcohol, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia, and was placed on probation for three years after serving any term of incarceration imposed. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

David Scott Hoeldt, 42, of Nikiski, pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of violating conditions of release for a misdemeanor and one felony count of third-degree escape (regarding the misdemeanor electronic monitor), committed Mar. 25. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended on count one and to 24 months in prison with 23 months suspended on count two, fined a $200 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $200 cost of appointed counsel, ordered, among other conditions of probation, not to consume alcohol to excess, not to use or possess any illegal controlled substances, including marijuana and synthetic drugs, not to possess, apply for or obtain a medical marijuana card or act as a caregiver while under supervision, ordered to complete a substance abuse evaluation and comply with treatment recommendations, ordered not to associate with individuals who use or sell illegal controlled substances nor enter or remain in places where illegal controlled substances are used, manufactured, grown or sold, ordered to have no contact with victim, ordered to submit to search directed by a probation officer, with or without probable cause, for the presence of controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, weapons and stolen property, and was placed on probation for two years on each of the counts.

He was sentenced to 20 years in prison with 10 years suspended, credited for time already served, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, ordered to pay $1,000 cost of appointed counsel, and placed on probation for five years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.

Joseph Scott Lantz, 37, address unknown, pleaded guilty to third-degree misconduct involving weapons (felon in possession), committed Mar. 19, 2018. He was sentenced to two years in prison with one year suspended, credited for time already served, fined a $100 court surcharge and a $200 jail surcharge with $100 suspended, forfeited items seized, except for his vehicle and miscellaneous personal belongings, and was placed on probation for three years. All other charges in this case were dismissed.
