Corey and Tryphena Cockroft are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Camy KayRose Cockroft of Soldotna, to Robert Edward Snyder, son of Chris and Sarah Snyder of Kenai.

Camy is the granddaughter of Robert and Geneva Boles, Rob and Pam Cockroft and Cindy Etchison. Eddie Snyder is the grandson of Starley Fehr, Robert Cooper, Jody and Fred Baker and Jerry Snyder.

The bride-to-be was born and raised in Soldotna and graduated from Skyview High School in 2012. She has traveled the U.S. and Canada by plane and car. She continues to travel to visit family in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Her adventurous spirit is an inspiration to her family and friends.

The groom to be was born in Hilsboro, Oregon and moved to Alaska with his family January of 2002 and graduated from Kenai Alternative High School in 2011. He is continuing to pursue his career in mechanics in Soldotna. He enjoys the company of family and friends around the campfire.

The couple is planning a wedding for the summer of 2015.
