Tired

Oh so tired,

stress sure can keep a person wired.

Wired for actions, wired for sound,

on the alert all around.

No wonder a person stays tired.

Always wanting the best, but getting the worst.

Having dreams and seeing them burst.

No wonder a person stays tired.

Trying to make normal out of chaos,

is like bringing the dead back in a seance.

No wonder a person stays tired.

The harder a person tries the more difficult it becomes.

In times like these, a person becomes emotionally undone.

No wonder a person stays tired.

The only solution is to turn everything over,

God will help regain the composure.

Finally, no longer tired,

God has left the person quite inspired.
