Burn suspension lifted for Kenai Peninsula and Kodiak

The public is asked to remain vigilant while burning due to minimal available resources.

Burn permits required early for Southcentral Alaska

The order goes into effect on Monday, March 17, in expectation of an early wildland fire season.

State lifts burn suspension

Residents may now obtain permits for burn barrels as well as for small and large-scale brush fires.
