SoHi girls, boys swimmers split dual meets in Kodiak

The Soldotna girls and boys swimming and diving teams swept host Kodiak in a Friday dual meet before losing a pair of dual meets to the Bears on Saturday.

Friday, the Soldotna boys topped the Bears 110-60, while the Stars girls notched an 82-76 victory.

Saturday, the Kodiak boys came back with an 82-80 victory, while the Bears girls won 81-69.

Friday, Nikita Monyahan took a pair of individual events for the Stars, winning the 500-yard freestyle and 100 butterfly. For the SoHi girls, Charisma Watkins won the 100 breaststroke and 200 individual medley.

Saturday, Max Reese won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke for the SoHi boys, while Tirzah Frederickson won the 500 freestyle and 200 individual medley.
