Palmer and Kodiak meet at 7 p.m. today for the title. The loser plays in Saturday’s second-third place game at 1 p.m. With the top three earning state bids, the championship loser already has state locked up.

The big question now is who gets the third berth.

Houston plays SoHi and Redington plays Homer at 10 a.m. today to stay alive. The Houston-SoHi winner then plays Grace at 3 p.m., and the Redington-Homer winner plays Kenai at 3 p.m. The winner of those games plays Saturday at 10 a.m. to reach the second-third game and get that state berth.
