Karl Danielson won the third race of the Salmon Run Series on Wednesday, July 23, at Tsalteshi Trails just outside of Soldotna.
Danielson finished the 5-kilometer event at 19 minutes, 45 seconds, topping runner-up Rex Shields by 7 seconds.
The fourth race will be Wednesday, July 30, at the Kalifornsky Beach trailhead at Tsalteshi.
Racers can register at kenaiwatershed.org. Check-in and registration for the race is 5:30 to 6 p.m. The 1-kilometer kids race is at 6 p.m., while the adults 5K race starts at 6:15 p.m.
