The visiting Homer softball team defeated Houston 34-3 in Northern Lights Conference play Wednesday.

The Mariners are now 2-0 in the league and 2-0 overall.

For Homer, Ariana Davis was 2 for 2 with four runs and two RBIs, Julie Guess was 2 for 2 with two runs, Naomi Folkestad had two runs and three RBIs, Becca Trowbridge was 4 for 5 with four runs and six RBIs, Alaiyah Brost was 3 for 4 with four runs, Emily Owens was 3 for 3 with four runs and five RBIs, Keagan Niebuhr was 3 for 3 with four runs and three RBIs, Charlotte Fraley had four runs and two RBIs, Amanda Toci was 2 for 2, Brenna Cox had two runs and two RBIs, and Autumn Jones had three runs.
