Hogue, Aldridge take Soldotna Cycle Series 2

Dylan Hogue and Morgan Aldridge won the 12-kilometer events Thursday at Soldotna Cycle Series 2.

Hogue finished the course in 29 minutes, 50 seconds, for the victory, while Eric Thomason was second at 32:24.

Aldridge finished at 33:57 to lead the women and finish fourth overall. Cassie Collins was the second woman across the line at 44:32.

The series continues Thursday at Tsalteshi Trails, with registration at 5:45 p.m. and the race at 6:15 p.m.
