The host Homer softball team lost a nonconference contest 4-3 in four innings to Colony on Thursday to drop to 11-18 overall.
The Knights took a 2-0 lead in the first, then led 4-0 headed to the bottom of the fourth. Homer rallied for three runs.
Zoe Adkins took the loss for the Mariners, going all four innings and giving up four runs — three earned — on six hits while walking one and striking out five.
