Area results posted for massive Gold Nugget Triathlon

A handful of Kenai Peninsula athletes traveled north Sunday to compete in the Gold Nugget Triathlon in Anchorage, which features a 500-yard swim, 12-mile bike and 3.5-mile run. The event was won by Stephanie Arnold in 1 hour, 1 minutes and 44 seconds. There were 1,445 finishers.
