The Soldotna Post Office on Binkley Street was partially closed Monday because of technical difficulties.

The retail window where customers can ship packages, purchase stamps and packaging, and perform other transactions was closed due to “unavoidable technical difficulties,” according to a letter posted in the office Monday morning.

Customers were advised to visit the Kenai Post Office on Bidarka Street for mailing services. Mail is still being delivered and parcel pickup was available during normal hours.

The letter, signed “USPS Management,” said the retail window would reopen as soon as the matter was resolved.
