Near miss results in DUI arrest

Alaska State Troopers stopped a Nikiski woman near Mile 20 of the Kenai Spur Highway Tuesday after they said she failed to yield to a trooper vehicle when entering the road.

Tayler Labarbera, 24, was arrested after troopers determined her to be driving under the influence. She was taken to Wildwood Pretrial facility and additionally charged with negligent driving. 

Labarbera was arraigned Tuesday and has another hearing scheduled on April 2 at 10 a.m.
