Festive skiers have a little longer to bring holiday spirit to Tsalteshi Trails. The association has extended the “Tree Ski” community contest inviting the public to adorn trail trees.

Trees were originally supposed to be decorated by Christmas Day, but because of the significant weather in recent weeks, that deadline has been moved to Dec. 31.

To enter, go to the Moose Loop, which is not accessible to motor-vehicles or on foot, then decorate a tree and send a photo and names to info@tsalteshi.org. To vote, take a picture of the best tree and send it to info@tsalteshi.org. The winner will be given the Viewer’s Choice Award on Feb. 1.
