The Kenai Art Center is this month featuring the annual Kenai Potters Guild Clay On Display exhibit, this year titled “River.”
This exhibit has all sorts of clay pots, wall art and even fountains.
The Kenai Potters Guild has been around for more than 50 years, teaching pottery skills and creating works of art in clay for show and sale.
“One thing we all have in common is our love for the environment. Rivers wind through our towns and our lives — whether we spend time on them or around them. Rivers connect us,” the Potters Guild said in an artist statement. “We hope our Clay On Display — River show encourages you to think about how the river plays a role in your life and the community around us.”
The show will be open until July 26 during gallery hours, noon to 5 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.
