Seats were filled for a musical about eating healthy on Tuesday as Kaleidoscope School of Arts and Science staged “Let’s Eat” for its annual fifth grade musical.
The show, which featured nearly 40 students and was directed by music teacher Brianna Blunck, featured a series of songs like “The Fast Food Tango” and “Grandma’s Pot Pie” where the students explored the impact of eating healthy or unhealthy foods on their bodies through song and dance.
Blunck, speaking before the show, said the show featured advanced musical routines and that the students had put forth many of the ideas that manifested in the completed production.
“I have just absolutely loved working with your students,” she said. “I’m hoping that you’ll be impressed with their hard work.”
