The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank’s annual Spring Festival is set for Friday, June 20, running from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the food bank.
The event, according to information provided to the Clarion by the food bank, will feature a free lunch and informational fair — including barbecue, ice cream floats, cakewalk and a petting zoo, among other things.
The event is family friendly and open to everyone. Besides a pair of raffle giveaways, for summer-themed baskets and bicycles, everything at the festival will be free. There are 16 local organizations set to provide information and host games.
